Connect the wider entry to a usable route
Ask about the actual accessible model, its entrance and space around it. Review how people reach the facilities from the programme or work area, including washing. A wider cabin placed beyond an unsuitable approach does not resolve the access problem the enquiry is trying to address.
Review the layout after other equipment is added
Seating, stalls and storage can consume clear space once setup begins. Have the organiser protect the agreed approach and review changes before opening. Equipment selection is only part of accessibility planning; confirm applicable requirements for the whole activity with the responsible organiser.
Accessible equipment and the space around it
Compare the proposed accessible model, not just a photograph of a wider cabin. Ask the supplier for its access features, internal layout and applicable specifications. An equipment description cannot establish whether the full event or property arrangement meets accessibility requirements.
Draw the user journey from the gathering area to the entrance and to washing facilities. Check that temporary furniture, parked vehicles and queues will not occupy it. A model change, relocation or new barrier is a reason to review that journey again with the responsible organiser.
Give the organiser the proposed model details together with the route, doorway and washing position. Review the same arrangement after queues and other equipment have taken their places.
